Our take

I needed a lighting controller for my DJ rig, and this DMX Operator 192 does the job, but it's not without quirks. The 192 channels are great for large setups, but programming chases via the small screen is tedious. The USB connection to my laptop worked seamlessly with Ableton Live, which was a plus. However, the build feels a bit plasticky despite the metal parts. The 6 chase programs are preset-heavy; I wish there were more custom slots. For $277, it's a capable workhorse if you need basic DMX control, but don't expect intuitive software or premium feel.
